What we collect
Depending on how you use our site, we may process:
Order details — name, email, shipping address and order history, needed to process and deliver your purchase.
Payment information — handled directly by our payment provider Mollie. We never see or store your full card or bank details.
Contact details — if you sign up for a drop notification or email us.
Analytics data — anonymised information about how visitors use the site, only if you accept analytics cookies.
Why we process it
To process orders, take payment and deliver your shirts.
To contact you about your order or a drop you signed up for.
To meet our legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records.
To improve the website, based on anonymised analytics (with your consent).
Who we share it with
We only share data with the providers that make the shop work, and only what they need:
Mollie — payment processing.
Supabase — secure database for orders and customers.
Resend — sending order and drop emails.
Cloudinary — hosting product images.
Google Analytics — anonymised site statistics, only with your consent.
We never sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice data is kept for as long as required by Dutch tax law (currently seven years). Drop sign-up emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to Google's standard retention settings.
Cookies
We use essential cookies that are needed for the shop to function (such as your cart), and analytics cookies that are only placed if you accept them. You can change your choice at any time through the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to processing, and to request a copy of your data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@shirtsociete.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
